Since there's NO BABY yet I'll keep posting about the funhouse. We have deck action and the first coat of paint. The girls did a wonderful job of helping out with the paint but my mom did the bulk of it while dad worked on the masterpiece deck all day.

I won't lie, I am amazed. I knew my dad was good at this stuff but it's quite something to see firsthand. The girls are having a terrible time staying out of it while it's still in progress - can't blame them.
It's gorgeous! Might have to hire your dad to build one for us too!
Your playhouse reminds me of the structure we had for our kids! Only yours is better. Tell your mom and dad they have outdone themselves. You know that when they come home they will have to build one for the other grandgirlies! Best wishes as you wait for your anticipated arrival!

Thanks for the kind wishes Sherri, that baby will have to show up eventually and we're enjoying ourselves while we wait!
It's been great having mom & dad here and I think for the most part dad is happier with a project on the go. We will hit the beach a bit earlier today though so he doesn't work so hard.
