late night poem



First Fig


My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends-
It gives a lovely light!

This poem caught my fancy as I find myself staying up later and later to try to fit both work and personal time into my life somewhere.

I did just a little digging on the title, only to find that there are many different opinions. I kind of like that.
